Kalsubai trek

 

Nestled in the Kalsubai Harishchandragad Temple, the Everest of Maharashtra is generally referred to as the Shrine of Wildlife. This summit is 1646 meters above sea level (5400 ft). The mountain’s entire landscape is surrounded by paddy fields, green landscape, steep roads, and rich wildlife. For ardent trekkers, this makes it the first option.

 

Chembra Peak

 

Chembra is one of the highest peaks in Southern India, around 2100 meters above sea level, for all those who like trekking. Trekking in this location is most well known for its greenery on the top rich in tea and coffee plantations and the region’s authentic herbs. Another gem of Chembra is its heart-shaped pool, a highlight of your Insta photos. The view of the lake and the cool wind have the strongest calming effects.

 

Kodachadri Trek

 

The hike Kodachadri is for those who enjoy hiking and adventure. If your gang and you plan to walk this mountain, a little more caution is required. That said, it is one of Karnataka’s highest mountain peaks and renowned for its thick jungle.

 

This peak is dry and deserted, making it difficult to detect from the ground. The trekking peak, because of the iron ores on its surface, has this beautiful reddish-brown hue.

 

Harihar Fort Trek

 

Founded by the Yadava dynasty, this fort protected the old commercial road and served as a watch-tower. It’s in the district of Nashik. This is an 80-degree steep jump, which looks like a stone ladder on the slope of the 60-meter pinnacle, which is the popular and trickiest part of this trek.

 

Uttara Betta Trek

 

It is also known as Huthri Durga and closer to Bangalore. It was fortified hills. This fortress was built in the 16th century by Kempagowda (Chief of the Empire of Vijayanagara). There are two small hills around the town where the legendary fort is still visible, collapsed defense walls.

 

Mullayangiri Trek

 

It is one of the most picturesque and popular spots with great views of South India. This location is recognized as Karnataka’s highest point at an altitude of 1,930 meters. Like Kudremukh, this top is in the Taluk of Chikmagalur surrounded by national forests and parks.

 

Rajmachi Fort

 

This place for visitors is another celestial paradise. There are two double fortified houses, Shriwardhan Balekilla and Manaranjan Balekilla, which are located at an altitude of 2,710 meters above water level. Trekking in this place famous for its old remains and its strategic position. “Machi” is a tray. Also, it’s a total wilderness package where you can encounter mountains, waterfalls, verdant valleys, and stunning forts.

 

Kudremukh

 

This is one of Chikmagalur’s top destinations, offering a paradise for walkers. It is the second-highest range in Karnataka and has lovely hills (6214 ft). The word “Kudremukh” refers to a “horse face” (Kannada) from a hill shape. It is a wet evergreen forest with cascades, mountains, and shrubs of bamboo. One of Karnataka’s largest woodland reserves.

 

Anamudi trek

 

Located in Munnar, Kerala (God’s own country) near Eravikulam national park. The summit in western Ghats, with an altitude of 8,842 ft. is said to have been the highest mountain. The interesting truth of the importance of the top is commonly referred to as “the Elephant’s front.”

 

Kalavantin Durg and Prabalgad Trek

 

Kalavantin Durg is a crescent that can provide you with excitement for intense adventure (2,250 ft). The serpentine stone paths (without rails) that the clouds pass along and the sensation is literally climbing the escalator to Heaven!

 

Together Kalavantin Durg, Prabalgad and Prabalmachi host so many nature lovers and trekkers prior to the COVID. Since this summit can be climbed, nearby mountains and a camp on the plateau. Camping offers a chance to taste local Maharashtrian cuisine cooked by the local villagers.
